The picture in my heading is dedicated to all girls who have short hair. :) And even though the blog name is "Ottertail," the fox is my favorite animal (but otters are extremely cute too.)
P.S. The foxes are drinking Italian Iced Latte out of a pickle jar lid.

I must agree. This reminds me of that picture book about the little flying rodents that went extinct; they were everywhere in the summer, and so common that no one thought anything about them, until they just vanished. After that they were a legend and only the old folks (kids grown up) remembered them.
I've tried and tried to remember the name of that book, but I haven't ever been able to find it again! Just like that Snow White book ... the best.
